Is there wildlife around the cabins?
Cocoon is set in a natural environment, so you may encounter local wildlife from time to time — including baboons, spiders, insects, and occasionally snakes. Sightings are generally infrequent, and the cabins and surrounding areas are well maintained. We simply encourage guests to be mindful of their surroundings and enjoy the landscape with a sense of awareness and respect.
Are pets allowed?
To protect the diverse wildlife in the area, pets are unfortunately not permitted at Cocoon.
Can I reach the cabins with a standard vehicle?
Please note we have sand roads and driveways.
As you approach Cocoon Cabins, we want to bring your attention to the fact that the final stretch of your journey will involve travelling on a sand road. Use of these is at your own risk and please exercise caution when driving on these roads, especially during wet conditions. Because of our location, we build and maintain the road ourselves. If you are not well acquainted with these types of roads, we suggest a higher clearance car. That said, ALL cars can manage the road.
No caravans or trailers can be parked in the cabin parking area. Please arrange an alternative with management.
